Thanks for playing- no one else did. That wasn’t the film I was thinking of- but I think your answer may also be correct as the trees that Robert Duvall sat under in Lonesome Dove are right there. Great memory! That was shot a long time ago. Since Lonesome Doves is technically a mini-series and not a film- you get credit for a great answer and a Tweet. This house has been featured in a number of different films, but it was built for “Silverado”.
That wasn’t the film I was going for- but I’ll bet you’re right as it was filmed there- you were on the disqualification list as you have insider info. Let’s see if someone knows the more recent film it was used in.

No- it’s at Bonanza Creek Ranch where Cowboys and Aliens was filmed- but it doesn’t appear in that film.
