The San Francisco de Asis Church has been an inspiration for numerous artists and photographers including Georgia O’Keeffe and Ansel Adams. This historic church, completed in 1813, is the centerpiece of the St. Francis Plaza, in Ranchos de Taos, a historic community just south of Taos, New Mexico. When I saw these windows, decorated by parishioners, with cholla cactus, I was immediately captivated. Thanks to Robert Cafazzo of Two Graces Gallery in Ranchos de Taos for sharing his joy of this special church
