Photo of the week: Dead End

Dead End, photo/Steve Collins

This dead end sign at a Taos cemetery was jut too good to pass up. Never were truer words spoken! We were visiting interesting, off the beaten path Taos sights with our favorite Tao tour guide, Robert Cafazzo of Two Graces Gallery in Taos when we saw this cemetery and sign. We were there to see the actor Dennis Hopper’s very New Mexican grave.

Two Graces is across the historic Ranchos de Taos Plaza from Ranchos Plaza Restaurant, the topic of this week’s Food Thoughts. It’s a Taos week on Santa Fe Travelers.

Another sign we love: Down and out Do you have a favorite sign that says it all?

Very apropos and a very good catch. When you start really looking it’s amazing the things you see.

We love finding quirky signs. I’m going to start collecting photos for a future post.
