Architectural Salvage, San Diego, CA, Photo Steve Collins

This wonderful art deco building houses Architectural Salvage, at the corner of Kettner and Kalmia in the Little Italy neighborhood of San Diego. We discovered it when we dined at El Camino, at the corner of Kalmia and India Streets. This store is a treasure trove of architectural curiosities saved when buildings were either demolished or renovated.  There are treasures to be found in this unique building that looks as if it was a car dealership in its earlier days.
